Service Monteur – Data and Security / Low Voltage
Are you a skilled and motivated person who enjoys solving technical challenges and working directly with customers? We are looking for a Service Monteur to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of technical installations and equipment at customer locations such as Access Control, CCTV and BMS systems.
As a Service Monteur, you will work independently under the guidance of the Project Manager, Specialist, and/or Technician, and may occasionally provide functional support to trainee technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and execute service assignments for corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and small project work.
- Work from technical drawings, schematics, and available technical documentation.
- Coordinate activities on short- and long-term projects at customer sites.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during service activities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions and system failures of varying complexity.
- Install, assemble, test, and commission installations and equipment.
- Configure and adjust systems and, where applicable, modify software settings/programming.
- Prepare measurement and test reports and update technical documentation when necessary.
- Conduct inspections and complete inspection reports.
- Provide customers with operational instructions and technical advice regarding improvements or modifications.
- Complete service reports, work orders, test protocols, and maintenance records accurately.
- Assist with information required for quotations and service proposals.
- Maintain a small stock of materials and spare parts, including ordering necessary supplies.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and company materials are properly maintained.
- Follow all company procedures and regulations related to quality, environmental standards, and safety.
- Support customer relationship management through professional communication and service.
- Be available to participate in emergency breakdown/on-call service rotations.
Requirements
- Minimum education level equivalent to MBO Level 3 in a technical field.
- Additional technical courses or certifications are considered an advantage.
- Relevant work experience in a similar technical service role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks on-site and work ‘Storingsdiensten’
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Driver’s License (Category B).
- Willingness to keep technical knowledge and skills up to date.
