Data and Fiber optic cabling

Croon Caribe a certified data cabling and fiber optic cabling contractor. For data cabling our personnel is trained certified as Signamax and Commscope installers and network designers. People are also trained in basic fiber optic installation skills and are certified fusion welders.

Connectivity tests are standard procedure and other tests and test reports are executed and produced depending on the client’s specifications and requirements. Croon Caribe performs these services for some of the companies on the island for whom the reliability is key in their operations like the airport, the Water and electricity pant (WEB) and various hotels like Marriott, Hyatt and the Divi Resorts.

Our project department was responsible for the complete data and security installation of the new container terminal in Barcadera. This included many miles of fiber optic backbone for the security system and for the data network including CAT 6 cabling, patch panels and distribution racks.

We are also working on the data cabling for the Horacio Oduber Hospital (new construction and renovation). On this project, we supply and install complete new backbone between the new and existing buildings to several MER rooms. The installation includes all copper, CAT 6, cabling, patch panels and distribution racks.
