Gateway 2030 Phase 1B

Croon Caribe is proud to announce that it will also be part of the next Gateway 2030 project: ‘Phase 1B’ at Aruba Airport. In phase 1A, Croon Caribe played a key role by handling the electrical systems, fire alarms, and other essential equipment for the new baggage and check-in halls. Building on this experience, Croon Caribe has now been contracted for the next phase of this major project.

Phase 1B has recently been started and during this phase will focus on modernizing the airport further. The plans include enlarging passenger waiting areas, building a new section of the terminal with three additional gates, adding new bus gates, and connecting the existing terminal to the new facilities. The project also aims to use eco friendly solutions like solar panels and systems for reusing water.

Croon Caribe is excited to contribute once again to the development of Queen Beatrix International Airport, helping to create a better experience for travelers and supporting Aruba’s infrastructure growth.
