Croon Caribe successfully delivers multiple projects at the WEB power- and solar plants

Recent months Croon Caribe has been successfully involved in multiple crucial projects at WEB (Water- en Energiebedrijf Aruba). Together with local and foreign partners and contractors Croon Caribe executed the electrical and low voltage works of the rehabilitation of the burned Wärtsilä DG-7 power generator. This generator was burned out in April 2024 and restored and delivered by Wärtsilä and their partners to WEB in October 2025.

At the same time WEB is expanding their RECIP III power plant in order to be future proof and to make sure WEB is able to be more than sufficient in delivering the necessary power and energy demand to the island. As part of the preparations of the RECIP III expansion (where we are also involved!) Croon Caribe executed the electrical works on the Radiators of RECIP III.

At last, Croon Caribe is involved in the maintenance of the Sunrise Solar Park located at Lago Heights. Our mechanics are workings continuously to maintain and upgrade the existing solar park containing of hundreds of solar panels generating 7.5MW.
